Local councillors in South Gloucestershire have considered the issue of fast food outlets being banned from being built within 400 metres of schools. The decision came after Cllr Avenin, of Bradley Stoke South, tabled a motion calling for exclusion zones to be established. A motion is expected to be debated at the next Full Council meeting on 15th July. If approved, the plans could be rolled out as early as July next year.
