If you're looking for a new burger joint in Stockport, you've come to the right place. Picmac Burger Joint has been serving up the best burgers in town since 2014. This burger comes with two beef patties, smoked bacon, cheese, salad and grilled mac and cheese puck. The burgers also come with options such as house chilli and grilled halloumi. This year, there were three Greater Manchester takeaways named as finalists in the British Takeaway Awards. The judges whittled down thousands of takeaways to only five independent businesses in each regional category. Stockport, Liverpool and Warrington food businesses have been named among the fan favourites. The awards ceremony will take place in September, and winners will receive a PS1000 cash prize. The winner will also be awarded PS5000 for Best Takeaway in Britain. The finalists include a restaurant run by Emmerdale actor Adam Thomas, called The Spinn. The Spinn serves wraps and burgers, and it has been a popular haunt for residents in the town.
