Four Highland takeaways have closed after being cited by environmental health officers. Sweet&Spicy in Alness, Bengal Spice in High Street and Shelina Spice in Provost Sinclair Road all faced closure last month. A senior environmental health officer at the Highland Council said: "We have taken the decision to shut these premises down as a result of their failing to meet food safety standards."
